2. The title deed or, if subject to mortgage bond, the name of the institution and the loan account no.;
3. Rate assessment;
4. Electricity and water account nos.
5. Identity document
6. If married, marriage certificate;
7. If married by ante nuptial contract a copy thereof;
8. A copy of a bank statement or cancelled cheque;
9. Utilities account (no older than 3 months);
10. A document from SARS reflecting the sellers income tax no.;
11. Confirmation that the property is a primary residence;
12. The estate agents name, the agency’s name and Vat no.
From the purchaser:
2. If married, marriage certificate;
3. If married by ante nuptial contract a copy thereof;
4. A copy of a bank statement or cancelled cheque;
5. Utilities account (no older than 3 months);
6. A document from SARS reflecting the purchaser’s income tax no.; or if none, a statement of the purchasers annual income from all sources;
7. The purpose for which the property will be used e.g., primary residence.
